What do you all think about hiring a camper van in Europe?
They provide cheap accommodation and let you choose where you want to go without locking us into a strict timetable where we have to be in certain places at certain times, we can plan our sightseeing and countries we visit day by day.
Germany has the cheapest rate for camper van hire but that dosnt mean we will be restricted to travel in Germany only, we can drive to any country we want to. The camper van idea will give us complete flexability so we will be able to see and visit places we might not see otherwise. We could stay overnight or a day or two and then move on to the next leg of the journey when we want to. For security we would book into van parks to sleep and hit the local Maccas, KFC, Subway, local cafes or restruants to eat and use the laundrett's to do our washing.

Here is an example camper van that sleeps 6 people and has seat belts in the van section as well as the 2 front seats so it would be comfortable to travel in.

so the example van above would cost $138.40 per day ($1937.00 for 14 days) to $238.28 per day ($3332.00 for 14 days) depending on the the time of travel, off peak to high season
